The Chippenham Demonstration Unit at Bill and Ben’s hydroponic Gardening store was designed to provide an accessible demonstration for those in the hydroponics community to encounter aquaponics. The unit ran from mid 2013 until late 2014 and demonstrated a 2X1m tent system growing tilapia and salads. The unit demonstrated a mixed hydroponic approach showcasing both Nutrient-Flow-Technique and flood-and-drain. The unit also tested the use of aphid eating wasps as a bio-control to great effect.
