Bank-holiday Friday morning and I’m on site at the Artspace-Lifespace College in Bedminster helping Kevin harden off some seedlings, and wandering around looking for an angle grinder… I find myself completely amazed by the signs of life springing up everywhere. A row of rasberry bushes, a faery ring of willow. Tulips, cherry blossom and sweet smelling herbs. How have you done this? I wonder at Kevin who’s hard graft along with many at the college was blooming out of the cracks, in the yard and right up the walls. Somehow this mixing of concrete, paint and plants has my brain working overtime.  Kevin runs off to a bike club or other and I’m left thinking… if only I can get some of that energy then all this is going to work just fabulously.
