URBACT, Sustainable Cities Network @ the SS Great Britain

Well yesterday proved to be an excellent meeting of the URBACT network and Sustainable Food Cities Network at the SS Great Britain; with smiling greetings from both elected and Lord Mayor (s) and pledges from the URBACT municipalities to place sustainable food high on the political agenda. We also heard the amazing news that the NHS in Wales has signed up to using ONLY Sustainable Fish in their hospital menu’s. Plus Cardiff has signed up to be the UK’s first Sustainable Fish City on the municipal level – thats a huge amount of sustainable fish meals to be served up in Wales in the next few years. Good news for sustainable aquaculture! Bristol Fish Project is proud to be involved in Bristol’s thriving sustainable food scene!
