Visit to Zoo & UWE Conservation Students

Such a nice start of the week!Midday visit to Bristol Zoo Gardens, talking about #eels and the project to the new group of students on @uwebristol’s Integrated Wildlife Conservation course. Couldn’t resist a quick peek in the aquarium after – especially to have a look at the white-clawed crayfish, like our European eel a native aquatic species under threat. Great to see how the Zoo contributes to wildlife education and conservation. (The dwarf mudskippers were pretty great too.) This picture was taken in the new aquarium tunnel. #wildlife #bristolzoo #conservation #lifeaquatic #fish #zoology #differentkettleoffish
